Leonard Cousins

Patent & Trade Mark Attorney

Our founder understands intellectual property as a patent attorney, an intellectual property manager, and an engineer with patented inventions. He applies these insights to protecting technical innovations. His priority is always getting a robust and enforceable patent granted, and he enjoys a very high success rate.

Leonard has experience as an in-house patent attorney in the commercialisation team at Auckland UniServices Ltd, managing an extensive portfolio. He was directly involved in building patent portfolios for Power-by-Proxi, StretchSense, Soul Machines and others. Leonard also managed key facets of a number of complex licences between UniServices and multinational companies.
